| Neslyšel jste někdo, jestli bude Cubase a všechny pluginy, které teď zaručeně fungují na XP, fungovat i na Vistě? |

Cubase 4.0.0 Installer for Windows Vista (32-Bit)
This installer enables the installation of Cubase 4.0.0 on PCs using Windows Vista as the operating system. If you have a Cubase 4.0.1 installation-DVD you can install Cubase 4 right away. You do not need the installer offered here! You can find the version number 4.0.1 printed on the label of the DVD. For users with a Cubase 4.0.0 DVD please notice the following steps for installation:
* Please download the installer and have it available on the Windows Vista system where you want to install Cubase 4
* Insert the Cubase 4.0.0 installation-DVD
* Start the installer you have downloaded
* This installer will now access the Cubase 4.0.0 DVD to install the application on the Windows Vista system
* Please note: The installer is searching for the Cubase 4.0.0 DVD in the drive with the lower drive letter. If you have more than one optical drive and the DVD is not found by the installer, a dialogue will appear where you can assign the path to the Cubase 4.0.0 installer on the DVD
* After the installation has been finished we recommend to install the Cubase 4.0.1 update (see above).
Additional notes: The installer offered here can be only used for the 32-bit version of Windows Vista and is not compatible with the 64-bit version! In addition, Cubase 4.0.0 (and 4.0.1) is not officially released by Steinberg for Windows Vista yet. Therefore, such a combination is not yet officially supported. The idea of this installer is to offer a way for interested user to take a "testdrive" of Cubase 4 on a Windows Vista system. Another Cubase 4 update is planned for official Windows Vista (and 64-bit) support. This will be announced accordingly then. |
Čili: Cubase 4, ač není na Vista oficiálně podporována, měla by v tuto chvíli na 32-bitové verzi fungovat. Verze kompatibilní s Vista 64-bit je v plánu.
Na SX bych nesázel, ale nezkoušel jsem.
Co se týče pluginů, asi nikdo soudný nemohl říct, potažmo slyšet, že VŠECHNY co fungují pod XP, taky budou fungovat pod Vista. To je příliš silné tvrzení. Naopak se dá s velkou jistotou říct, že určitě nebudou fungovat VŠECHNY (tedy - fungovat budou určitě jen některé).
Mimochodem, co je na Vista tak zajímavého? K přechodu na operační systém, který mi na stejném hardware poskytne znatelně menší výkon než ten stávající, mne musí přesvědčit nějaké zásadní argumenty. V tomto směru zatím nic...
(Už z názvu je zřejmé, že nejdůležitější na Windows Vista je to, jak vypadají... radši bych Windows Drudge) |
